Terms and Conditions for Annual Pass
1. Introduction
These terms and conditions apply to the purchase of an annual pass for Strandfaraskip Landsins (SSL). By purchasing an annual pass, you agree to comply with these terms.
2. Purchase of Annual Pass
The annual pass is a digital product that entitles you to a discount on travel tickets for a specific route for one year from the date of purchase. After purchase, the annual pass will be stored on your SSL user account, so you can easily use it when purchasing tickets.
You can choose to purchase an annual pass for:
- A specific vehicle: The discount applies to all trips with that vehicle on the selected route.
- Yourself as a person: The discount applies to all trips you personally make on the selected route.
About the discount:
- The discount increases the more you travel on the route for which you purchased the annual pass.
- The discount cannot be used for other routes or other vehicles/persons.
Other:
- The annual pass is personal (or vehicle-specific) and cannot be transferred to another person or vehicle.
- Purchase of an annual pass is binding.
3. Prices
All prices include VAT (MVG), unless otherwise stated. The currency is DKK. We reserve the right to correct pricing errors, unusual price increases, unexpected increases in processing costs, and sold-out products.
4. Payment Terms
Payment can be made with:
- Dankort and Visa/Dankort
- Funds in the customer's user account
5. Refund
- Right of withdrawal: You have 14 days from the date of purchase to cancel your purchase. The period is calculated from the day you received the purchase confirmation.
- Condition for refund: The product can only be returned if it has not been used, i.e. if you have not used the annual pass to travel.
- Wrong route: If you have accidentally purchased an annual pass for the wrong route, you have 14 days to cancel the purchase, provided that the annual pass has not been used. Contact customer service to get a new annual pass for the correct route.
- It is not possible to return an annual pass that has been used.
6. Personal Information
We record your personal information in order to deliver the ordered product to you and to manage your annual pass. You always have the right to be informed of what information we have registered about you. We store your information for 5 years in accordance with applicable law. If you wish to have the information deleted, please send us a message.

8. Changes to Terms and Conditions
Strandfaraskip Landsins reserves the right to change these terms and conditions without notice. The latest terms and conditions can always be found at www.ssl.fo.
9. Governing Law
These terms and conditions are governed by Faroese law.
