Booking

Booking is available 2 months prior and at the latest 1 hour before departure.

Timeslot

The vehicle must be in the queue 15 minutes before departure. Booking in required for every person in the vehicle. However, children under 7 years, do not pay for a ticket  and can be in the vehicle.

The booking is only valid for the vehicle on the registration, it is not permitted to give the ticket to other vehicles.

Booking from Gomlurætt to Skopunar

With an account:

You can register an account and book tickets more easily. Instructions are available here.

The account can have a balance from 80-20.000 DKK.

You will still need to pre-book even if you have an account.

Without an account:

Payment with a debit or credit card is required without an account. Dankort does not have any additional fees, however other cards may. You will pay for a round trip, however the ticket is only valid from Gomlurætt to Skopunar.

A receipt will be sent to the email associated with the booking. If no email shows in your inbox, check spam folder.

If the vehicle on the booking is not at the designated boarding area within the timeslot, the space will be yielded to other vehicles without a refund.

Booking from Skopun to Gomlurætt

With an account:

You must have an account to book from Skopun to Gomlurætt. You will not need to pay for the trip but a deposit will be transferred from the booking. There must be money available on the account for the deposit, which is the cost of half a ticket.

When you show up for the trip, the deposit will be paid back into the account. If you do not show up, you will lose the deposit.

The account can have a 80-20.000DKK balance.

Without an account:

It is not possible to book this trip without an account.

SSL card:

It is not possible to book this trip with a SSL card.

Cancelation of booking:

Booked space can be canceled 2 hours before departure, at the latest. At the bottom of the ticket reciept there is a link for cancelation. If the cancelation is before the 2 hours of departure, there will be a refund. If it is less than 2 hours, a refund is not available.

Changing your booking

Paid for tickets cannot be changed, but can be canceled and a new one must be booked.

Cancelled trip

If SSL cancels any trips, all booking for that trip will be voided, and a new trip must be booked.

Other

It is the passenger’s responsibility to provide the correct details of your vehicle when booking, in order to get the correct ticket. If the vehicle is bigger than shown on the booking, the vehicle will be moved to the back of the queue, and no financial compensation will be made.

Please Note

Ambulances and firetrucks always have first priority. This means that the last vehicle must give up its space for emergency vehicles.
