Herjfólf III Tvøroyri - Tórshavn

Herjólfur III sets sail from the 20th of August. Pre-booking for trips is available to passengers, and passanger cars.

If you want to secure a spot, it is adviced to book a ticket in advance.

You can book a ticket on the booking system, and your ticket will be sent via e-mail. You will always get an e-mail with the ticket, but can request it be sent by SMS.

 

Pay both ways

When you book a spot, you must pay for a one-way ticket each way. If you have or create an account, you will get 15% off for passengers and passenger cars. It is very simple to create an account, see more under Instruction.

Check in with QR code

The ticket has a QR code, that will be used for check-in when you arrive at Tvøroyri and Tórshavn.

If you are in a vehicle, you will need to scan the QR code in the queue. Crew members will be there to help you.

If you are on foot, you will need to scan before you board.

Passenger and cargo trips

Below you will find the route schedule for Herjólf from the 20th of August to October 2nd 2022.

Passenger trips

On passenger trips, passengers and smaller vehicles have first priority. Only urgent cargo will permitted on these trips.

These trips are for passengers and cars only:

  • Saturday and Sunday: 14:00 from Tvøroyri and 18:00 from Tórshavn

Cargo trips

For cargo trips it is not available to book a spot for passenger cars or smaller vans. However, vans may be permitted onboard with an arrangement with the cargo stations on Tvøroyri and Tórshavn. Travelers, on foot (without a vehicle) can travel on cargo trips.

Bigger cargo

SSL will inform cargo companies and business clients directly about arrangements of cargo while Herjólfur III attends to route 7.
