From Tuesday the 12th of September it is also possible to book for vehicles on the ferry to Kalsoy. The ferry Sam, which is the regular ferry on route 56 is back in route and is now featured in our booking system.
Sam can hold up to 12 vehicles and 115 passengers, however, 5 car spots and 30 passenger spots are reserved for the locals of Kalsoy on every trip. There are, therefore, only 7 available vehicle slots in the booking system for every trip, but vehicles can also get in queue 2, which is for vehicles that have not pre-booked. If there are any available spots left, other vehicles can board the ferry as well and buy the ticket on board.
