Yesterday Strandferðslan purchased the passenger boat Alpha Pilot. Alpha Pilot will sail on the route to Hestur and Strandferðslan has previously chartered Alpha Pilot for various routes. Hilmar Eliasen, CEO, is delighted that a boat has been specifically assigned for the route to Hestur. Alpha Pilot will start sailing on this route when the preparations on the boat have been finalized. Teistin will still sail cargo journeys to Hestur.
